Terms and Conditions

1.       The minimum age requirement for attending one of our events is 18 years old. Due to restrictions no pregnant women are allowed on an event. Some of our locations are unsuitable for people with a disability for further information on this please contact ...........

2.       IMPORTANT- No alcohol or drugs are permitted on any of our events. If anyone appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will be asked to leave the event with no refunds. UkGhosthunters staff will use their discretion on this matter and will evict anyone who is behaving inappropriately or disruptive as a direct result of alcohol or drugs.  

3.       Each member of public will act in a responsible manner and respect other people and their views. The client will act in a manner which will not put themselves or other people at risk or harm from injury. Due to the late hour the events finish the client will also respect the local residents by leaving in a quick and quiet manner.

4.       There is no smoking on the premises; designated smoking areas will be pointed out during the health and safety briefing. No candles or naked flames are permitted inside the location.

5.       There are no sleeping facilities at our events unless otherwise stated in the event details.

We suggest that due to the lateness of the investigations that you arrange to ensure you are not too tired to drive home and maybe arrange hotel or b+b prior to booked event. Remember Tiredness Can Kill.

6.       UkGhosthunters will not be liable for any loss or damage of the client’s property whilst at the event. This also includes any damage occurred by spiritual or poltergeist activity.

7.       IMPORTANT- It is important that the client is aware that they attend the event at their own risk. UkGhosthunters will not be liable for any accident or injury which is occurred whilst on an event or travelling to and from the event. UkGhosthunters will ensure that safety measures are enforced during the event and will give a short health and safety briefing before the event. We recommend each client to bring a torch with them and wear safe and comfortable clothing and footwear. It is also important to understand the unfamiliarity of the location and will not allow clients to wonder the building without a member of staff.

8.       All locations ran by UkGhosthunters have had reported paranormal activity. However UkGhosthunters will not be held responsible for the level of activity experienced during the event. Any activity experienced on the night will not be staged by any member of UkGhosthunters.

9.       UkGhosthunters use experienced Mediums and investigators. However they can only give you their own opinion and views. It is ultimately your own views and beliefs which you should consider during the event, and should not act on other people’s views and beliefs. UkGhosthunters recognises their team member’s opinions and beliefs are direct to that person and are not a direct view of UkGhosthunters.

10.   All UkGhosthunters events are for entertainment purposes only and take no responsibility for opinions held on the validity or truth of the information received. UkGhosthunters also take no responsibility of the nature of the information received or the actions taken due to the information received.

11.   Occasionally an event has to be cancelled due to either adverse weather conditions or a situation out of UkGhosthunters control. UkGhosthunters will endeavour for a swift refund of payment. If the event is rescheduled UkGhosthunters reserve the right to set limitations on the refund given. Any other expenses incurred due to the cancellation of the event will not be refunded. This includes travel expenses and accommodation costs.

12.   These Terms and conditions are non-negotiable and your booking of the event demonstrates an acceptance of this terms and conditions by yourself the client.

13.   By accepting these terms and conditions you are further indemnify the organisers/ promoters from and against all legal liability of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respecting or arising out of injury to or death of any person, or damage to any property arising from my participation without this event.   

14.       You will be asked to sign in at the beginning of the night for health and safety reasons and to except these terms and conditions.

15.   Refund Policy. Cancellations less than 6 weeks before booked event a full refund will be given.

Any cancellations less than 4 weeks before booked event will result in no refund being given.

16.   Behaviour Policy- We would like all our guests to have a safe and enjoyable evening therefore UkGhosthunters hold a strict behaviour policy. No behaviour that is deemed to have an effect on the other clients, staff and the running of the event will be tolerated. Anyone that UkGhosthunters team deem to be behaving in an inappropriate way will be swiftly dealt with and will be asked to leave the event regardless of transport difficulties or adverse weather conditions. No refund will be given.
